What I Do

My career has taken me in many directions, from creative writing to arts administration and software development technology, with one central theme uniting it: I always want to learn something new.

To write well, you must know your subject — and your audience. My approach to content marketing is writing-first, quality-first, and interview-based because it makes the writing good.

Below are some examples of my work by type.

Content Strategy

As Head of Content Marketing at Port, I created and led our content strategy. Through a combination of thought leadership, SEO/AEO research, and product-led tutorials, my strategy grew our blog audience by 30% quarter-over-quarter during my tenure. See the blog here.

As Content Marketing Manager at LogRocket, I contributed to monthly keyword research and led our social listening content strategy, adding 10-15 new topics to cover on the developer blog each month. Trending topic research posts written based on my research yielded significant page views, comprising about 20% of our monthly traffic. For our product management blog, I interviewed dozens of product managers in key leadership roles at companies like Best Buy and Automation Anywhere for the Leader Spotlight Series, a blog sharing best practices in product management. Check out a sample interview here.

Thought Leadership

In addition to the Leader Spotlight Series, I led thought leadership efforts at Port for the Agentic Engineering Platform, a new platform for orchestrating humans and AI in unified workflows. I led the positioning and messaging efforts, which culminated in this launch blog that I ghostwrote for our CEO.

I have ghostwritten for multiple personas, such as product managers, AI experts, and customers at Port.

SEO/AEO Content Writing

I am first and foremost a writer. I wrote most of the content at Port, edited a significant portion of the LogRocket Blog, and coached others on my team through SEO and AEO best practices to improve their writing. I’ve written about everything, from custom hot tub retailers and concrete pumpers and roofers, to agentic engineering and frontend web development. Everything can and should be optimized. See some examples here, here, and here.

In Print

As Content Marketing Associate at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, I wrote all of the copy for our print brochures and online events calendar. Take a look at some samples in the gallery below.
